Van Dyk Health Care expands primary care services
Van Dyk Health Care is expanding its primary care operations.
The New Jersey-based owner and operator hired its first-ever nurse practitioner, Christina Vassallo, at its Montclair facility in advance of launching a memory care center at Hawthorne. Van Dyk owns and operates three facilities and offers a continuum of care.
“Adding a full-time nurse practitioner has been a top priority, and Christina is a welcomed addition to our team,” says Jacqueline Cousins, vice president of data strategy who also serves as adminsistrator at Van Dyk Montclair. “We now have the ability to provide more primary care services with Van Dyk’s hallmark commitment to quality. It assures physicians that our award-winning team can handle the needs of their patients.”
Vassallo has worked as a nurse practicioner for 11 years and will work with Van Dyk Monthclair Medical Director Marc Morresi, MD, and the nursing staff to keep patients out of the hospital and remain safely in their homes longer.
