Buzztime, Inc., the company behind trivia game tablets and monitors in sports bars and restaurants, is bringing trivia to seniors. As part of a partnership, Buzztime will install its trivia system in the common areas of all new Harbor Chase Senior Living Communities.
Residents and visitors can play Buzztime trivia and games by themselves, with others in the room, in live group trivia contests at other HarborChase communities or with anyone on the Buzztime network at one of hundreds of venues nationwide.
"Buzztime has provided a unique way for our residents and family members of all ages to bond through Buzztime's entertainment technology," said Peggy Connelly, National Director of Life Enrichment and Memory care for Harbor Retirement Associates, in a press release. "Fun competition also allows our residents to connect with others from across the country. In addition to creating opportunities for fun relationships, the Buzztime system helps to support our residents' overall cognition and brain fitness, helping them to enjoy life to the fullest."
Buzztime is creating tailored game content for residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy that will be shown on large displays in the common areas. When not in use, those displays will show community messages and other relevant content for residents.
