RF Technologies launches small-site nurse call option
RF Technologies, Brookfield, Wis., has introduced a wireless nurse call system designed to meet the budgets of small-to-medium-sized skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). The Quick Response Prime system combines resident call pendants, call stations and wireless infrastructure to provide thorough coverage with minimal installation and maintenance.
The system can provide alerts from smoke alarms, wander management sensors and other wireless devices in addition to resident pendants. Alerts can be delivered audibly or via text message, pager or smart phone to reduce noise and audible alarm fatigue.
Web-based dashboards allow administrators to reassign pendant IDs from any facility computer when a resident moves out or changes rooms.
