Renowned chef preps for senior living gig
He's cooked for the president and now he's cooking for residents.
Five-Star chef Philippe M. Gehin will now be serving up meals as executive chef of Creekside at Shallowford, a Holiday Retirement independent living community in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The Chattanoogan reports Gehin has spent years studying in France and has cooked for President Barack Obama, Harrison Ford and Madonna.
Gehin has spent the last two years at The Brando Hotel in French Polynesia. He has also served as program director at Virginia College in Chattanooga and executive chef at the Frist Center of the Visual Arts in Nashville, Tennessee.
