With security breaches taking a major toll on healthcare organizations, software developers are faced with the challenge of how to better protect patient/resident data.
Brookfield, Wisc.-based Honeywell HomMed recently announced that it has released a new version of its LifeStream, Manager—a software application that allows healthcare providers to view and manage all of Honeywell's patient monitors from a single dashboard.
As part of the LifeStream Management suite of software solutions, the new version has an expanded set of customizable password requirements and a more secure access to LifeStream accounts across multiple workplace locations or facilities.
In addition to beefed-up security, Lifestream 4.12 also offers faster login and page loading times.
Other applications in the LifeStream Management suite include interfaces to electronic health records, data analytics tools and a secure Web-based resident information portal.
