Foss Manufacturing Company’s Fosshield® antimicrobial technology safely and effectively inhibits the growth of destructive and odor-causing bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungus. When woven into any textile, the bicomponent polyester fiber combats the growth of microbes and extends the product’s life. Fosshield includes a silver- and cooper-based additive, and unlike other antimicrobials that are applied via topical coatings, the additive is extruded as part of the fiber sheath during manufacture.
