NADONA’s Dornberger nominated to antibiotics council
Sherrie Dornberger, RN, CADDCT, GDCN, CDONA, FACDONA, the executive director of the National Association of Nursing Administration in Long-Term Care, has been invited to become a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria (Advisory Council).
Working with the Advisory Council, Dornberger will provide the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services with information, advice and recommendations on policies and programs related to the detection, control and prevention of the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, both at home and abroad.
Dornberger’s service on the Advisory Council underscores the knowledge that of directors of nursing administration can bring to the table.
