Materials will help you observe Older Americans Month
Older Americans Month is in May, and the Administration for Community Living of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has posted materials on its website that are designed to help communities celebrate.
This year’s theme is “Get Into The Act” in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Older Americans Act. Suggested activities encourage older adults to take charge of their health as much as possible.
Available materials include posters, examples of social media posts, sample proclamations and articles, ideas for events and other materials. The ACL’s website also contains the history of Older Americans Month.
