Construction is underway for a $65 million senior living and healthcare community in Kansas City, Mo.
The Tiffany Springs Senior Community will include 300 residential units of independent living, assisted living, rehabilitation services and memory care.
Locally-owned Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is developing the 14-acre luxury project near St. Luke’s North Hospital in the Northland, just north of downtown Kansas City. Tutera operates 47 senior living-communities in 13 states.
“Tiffany Springs Senior Community will integrate state-of-the-art residential options centered around the latest hospitality and wellness services with convenient access to quality health care services,” says Randy Bloom, president and COO of Tutera Senior Living & Health Care in a press release.
Tiffany Springs is expected to open in summer 2017. The community will have the latest therapy equipment in a state-of-the-art therapy space and rehabilitation gym, three rehabilitation and healing gardens, restaurant-style dining options with menus created by in-house chefs, outdoor entertainment spaces, salon and spa services, an indoor pool and concierge service for residents.
Tiffany Springs is the second senior living development that has broken ground in the Northland this month. The Norterre is a 17-acre residential and wellness community near Liberty Hospital that will feature housing for seniors, young families and active adults.
