LTC EHR vendor acquires financial software provider

MDI Achieve, whose MatrixCare electronic health record (EHR) is one of the fastest growing cloud-based EHRs in the long-term care industry, has acquired Right Click Software, a business operations platform designed for assisted living environments.

The portfolio addition will allow MDI Achieve to offer an integrated platform of marketing, financial and operational tools to the assisted living market. Right Click's modules include everything from billing and human resources to incident reporting and marketing.

In a press release announcing the acquisition, John Damgaard, president and CEO of MDI Achieve, said, “The strong marketing, financial, and operational features of the Right Click product, combined with the robust clinical and care continuum management features of the MatrixCare EHR platform, creates an industry-leading comprehensive platform for managing resident care and business operations for assisted living providers. This newly expanded and enhanced feature set will be marketed as ‘MatrixCare for Assisted Living,’ a key component of the MatrixCare architecture for long-term care, our technical roadmap for providing person-centric longitudinal care.”

Steven Vick, founder of Right Click and current CEO of Signature Senior Living, will be retained to provide strategic advisory services as well as sales and marketing support.
