Joerns, RecoverCare announce merger

A “merger of equals” transaction between the investment firms Quad-C Management and Aurora Capital was signed on Tuesday. The merger of Joerns Healthcare and RecoverCare, two major players in the healthcare equipment manufacture and distribution markets, will combine the companies to position them as one of the leading healthcare equipment providers in the country, enabling customers to access a full suite of products and services to serve the continuum of care supported by a comprehensive network of distribution centers.

The transaction is expected to close the second quarter of 2014.
