It’s National LTC Administrator’s Week
March 8 to 14 is National Long Term Care Administrator's Week.
The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) has sponsored the national observance each March since 1994 to honor and celebrate the role administrators play in providing leadership for the delivery of quality, resident-centered care and a supportive work environment for staff.
On its website, ACHCA suggests ways that staff members and entire communities can recognize individual administrators, seek publicity in local media and post events on ACHCA's Facebook page or follow ACHCA on Twitter and use the hashtag #LTCAWeek15 to tweet about special moments.
“ACHCA commends, salutes and thanks those administrators in nursing homes and assisted living centers who are committed to providing excellent quality of care and quality of life for the most vulnerable members of society,” the organization says. “Congratulations on a job very well done!”
