How’s your wound care?
Could your facility use an outside wound care consultant?
Comments:
-If our facility won’t train someone in-house to be a wound care specialist, then I think we should have a consultant come in to evaluate and train a wound care team. It would significantly decrease the healing time of some of our wounds.
-We’ve used an off-site wound care specialist for many years as an adjunct to our wound care team.
-Our specialist is very busy helping area facilities.
