Healthcare IT acquisition
Two healthcare workforce management software companies are joining forces.
ABILITY Network has acquired ShiftHound to improve scheduling effectiveness and operational efficiency for providers across the continuum of care. Terms of transaction were not disclosed.

Pulido, chairman and CEO of ABILITY in a press release. “In bringing together ABILITY’s clinical intelligence capabilities with ShiftHound’s workforce management solutions, providers will be better able to ensure they are staffed to acuity—improving quality of care while effectively managing costs.”
ABILITY Network provides healthcare applications and analytics for revenue cycle management, clinical management and performance improvement through an integrated distribution platform. The company is headquartered in Minneapolis.
ShiftHound offers workforce scheduling optimization, time and attendance tracking and credential management for acute, post-acute and ambulatory providers. All ShfitHound employees will join ABILITY. The company, based in San Diego, will become an ABILITY Center of Excellence.
