The New Wave of Foodservice Technology in Senior Care

Headed for ‘homelike’

With the opening of a 15,730 square-foot, $7.2 million expansion, Granite Farms Estates has upgraded its nationally recognized WillowBrooke Court Skilled Care Center with 16 suites that emphasize person-centered care.

Designed to accommodate seniors needing nursing care and dementia support, the addition to this continuing care retirement community located in Media, Pennsylvania, was built with the following features: flexible schedules and activities, a country kitchen, enhanced dining options, and living spaces and activity areas that promote socialization.

“The enhancements to WillowBrooke Court will enable us to deliver a more comfortable and homelike living environment,” said Paul Nimey, executive director at Granite Farms Estates. “We continue to experience a high demand for life care retirement living, where residents can live independently and enjoy life and activities with the security of high quality on-site healthcare services, if ever needed.”
