HCR ManorCare launches lewy body dementia pilot program
The Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) and HCR ManorCare are teaming up to support to those affected by Lewy body dementia (LBD)–and their caregivers.
HCR ManorCare, a national long-term care owner and operator, will launch a new pilot program this fall at five New England-area Arden Courts facilities, which exclusively specialize in memory care.
"We're coming together to serve these local communities," LBDA CEO Mike Koehler says in a press release. "The teaming of our resources will be the first major corporate collaboration of its kind to focus on providing LBD education and support through these Arden Courts facilities."
More details will be announced on the two organizations' websites in the coming weeks, according to the release.
