Guardian Pharmacy acquires Pharmacy Concepts
Guardian Pharmacy, one of the country’s largest long-term care pharmacies, has acquired Arlington, Texas-based Pharmacy Concepts, establishing Guardian’s first foray into the state of Texas.
Under Guardian ownership, Melissa Deas, PharmD, will operate Pharmacy Concepts at the local level as its president and CEO. “With the expertise of our current staff, innovative technology offerings, and detailed focus on client needs, Pharmacy Concepts is truly poised to significantly grow in the local market and provide even better service to the booming LTC industry in Texas,” said Deas in a Guardian press release.
Guardian has 28 locations in 20 states, serving more than 84,000 seniors. Pharmacy Concepts, founded in 2000, serves more than 1,100 seniors.
