Genworth Partners with Mayo Clinic to Promote Healthy Aging
Genworth Financial today announced its collaboration with Mayo Clinic to offer a health education and wellness program specifically for long-term care insurance customers.
Called Live+Well, the program will provide an online resource dedicated to helping Baby Boomers improve their overall well-being. The collaboration encourages healthy living among long-term care insurance consumers, who can manage and monitor their health risks using Mayo Clinic’s expertise as a guide.
“Wellness education is the next frontier in promoting disease-free and disability-free living,” said Buck Stinson, president of U.S. Insurance Products for Genworth Financial. “Baby Boomers entering retirement increasingly seek to learn more about how the actions they take today can influence their future health.”
Live+Well will provide consumers with online access to articles provided by Mayo Clinic’s wellness experts. The content aims to educate Boomers seeking credible information about healthy living options, and will include articles covering topics such as men’s and women’s health, common health concerns of caregivers, and tips for living healthier lifestyles.
