Erickson Living hires VP for business strategy and development
Erickson Living is expanding its leadership team to aid with a projected $1 billion in new construction over the next five years.
Erickson Living, a national developer and manager of continuing care retirement communities, has hired Sean Sands to be its vice president of business strategy and development. In this new executive role, Sands will oversee all aspects of strategy and business development to support company growth and business opportunities.
“We are excited to welcome such an experienced and respected business veteran to our team,” says Alan Butler, Erickson Living’s chief executive officer in a press release. “With a projected company investment in excess of $1 billion in new construction over the next five years, Sands’ wisdom and expertise will play a key role in helping Erickson Living stay more strongly positioned in the industry than ever.”
Sands has 28 years of business and financial services experience, most recently serving as the regional vice president and head of the Maryland corporate banking division of Wells Fargo. He has also worked for SC&H Capital, Wachovia Bank, First Union National Bank and First National Bank of Maryland.
Nicole was Senior Editor at I Advance Senior Care and Long Term Living Magazine 2015-2017. She has a Journalism degree from Kent State University and is finalizing a master’s degree in Information Architecture and Management.
