Emeritus, Life Care Funding Partner to Promote LTC Funding Option
Emeritus Senior Living, a national assisted living provider, is partnering with Life Care Funding Group to educate seniors about a financing option available for covering long-term care services.
Emeritus is promoting Life Care Funding’s “assurance benefit,” which converts the death benefit of an active life insurance policy into a long-term care benefit to help pay for the cost of such services, according to a release.
“Many seniors and families are unaware that their life insurance policies are valuable assets and can be used in this way, and as a result some let active policies lapse,” said Jayne Sallerson, executive vice president, Sales & Marketing at Emeritus, in a release. “We hope that we can help educate seniors about their resources, so that more seniors can have access to the long term care that they need.”
