Company offers high-tech decorating option for resident rooms

If photos are the next best thing to being there, then seniors now have the ability to literally paper their walls with photos of family, friends and memories.

WeMontage, Neenah, Wisc., uses a proprietary online platform to create large photo posters and collages printed on what it calls "removable wallpaper."

Using the site's "drag and drop" tool,  customers can arrange their uploaded photos the way they like, choose a print size and place their orders. Sizes range from 6 ft. x 4 ft. to custom wallpaper sections as large as the customer may want.

And since the printed product is on repositionable paper, there is no need to use tacks or nails—a practice often prohibited by long-term care facilities. The solution also creates options for personalizing memory care centers and decorating activity spaces, all without marking the walls.
