CMS seeks feedback on home health agency ratings
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will hold a “special open door forum” telephone call from 1:30 to 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Dec. 17, to seek input from home health agencies, consumers and others about its planned addition of star ratings to its Home Health Compare website.
CMS currently plans to begin with a single star rating summarizing each home health agency's performance across a 10-measure subset of the process, outcome and utilization quality measures already displayed on the site. Performance on individual measures will continue to be reported in addition to the star rating.
To participate in the call, dial (800) 837-1935 and enter conference ID number 31480515.
