CAE Healthcare and MedAffinity team up for EHR training partnership
CAE Healthcare and MedAffinity announced today they will partner to offer students and professionals simulations of using an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
“For the first time, our educators can offer learners realistic and measurable practice with a comprehensive EHR system," said Dr. Robert Amyot, President of CAE Healthcare. "It allows educators to evaluate how well learners record a patient exam as well as their clinical reasoning leading to diagnosis and treatment."
CAE Healthcare’s center management system, LearningSpace, delivers medical video simulations for debrief as well as learner performance assessment, scheduling, reporting and asset management for Standardized Patient and healthcare simulation programs.
All of the Simulated Clinical Experience (SCE) content will be added into MedAffinity’s EHR system. LearningSpace administrators will then be able to evaluate and score what the learner has entered into the MedAffinity EHR during the simulation.
