Briggs to distribute ErgoNurse patient lifter

West Des Moines, Iowa-based Briggs Healthcare and Fort Worth, Texas-based ErgoNurse have entered into a partnership giving Briggs the exclusive distribution rights to ErgoNurse’s “no-lift” patient repositioning system.

As a free-standing system that has no motorized parts, the ErgoNurse repositioning system uses standard bed sheets and can accommodate residents/patients weighing up to 550 pounds. A bariatric unit is available for residents/patients weighing up to 1,000 pounds.

Briggs Healthcare, which serves over 50,000 customers in the hospital, long-term care, assisted living, hospice and home care markets, also has documentation systems and forms, compliance services, charting equipment and rehabilitation supplies.
