Briggs partners with Kno2, BlueStrata for e-forms
Briggs Healthcare, a leader in documentation and compliance forms designed for the long-term and post-acute care, has partnered with several companies this month to bring electronic documentation to post-acute care settings.
The company’s partnership with BlueStrata, a cloud-based software service company, will integrate Briggs’ portfolio of forms and compliance tools into BlueStrata’s cloud-based electronic health record, allowing long-term care professionals to use the familiar Briggs forms in electronic format.
“Our customers will enjoy an improved user experience by having the tools embedded into the EHR platform and available for charting, ultimately enhancing patient care and compliance,” said Tony Coco, President of BlueStrata, in a press release.
Briggs also partnered with Kno2, a healthcare document exchange company based in Boise, Idaho, to integrate the eBriggs portfolio with Kno2’s interoperability platform for data exchange.
"This is an important strategic step forward because it brings together two organizations who have an immense presence in post-acute care, as well as in other areas of healthcare," said Dustin Epstein, chief digital officer at Briggs Healthcare, in a press release about the deal. "By pooling our efforts and resources, we can make it easier for post-acute care providers to fully adopt electronic documentation.”
Earlier this month Briggs partnered with Senior Insight, a Denver-based assisted living software company, to integrate the eBriggs electronic forms with Senior Insight's electronic health record platform.
