Briggs Healthcare to buy SimpleLTC
Briggs Healthcare, headquartered in West Des Moines, Iowa, is acquiring SimpleLTC, a Richardson, Texas-based provider of data analytics and data automation tools for long-term care settings.
Founded in 2003, SimpleLTC offers a portfolio of tools to help nursing homes and post-acute care settings comply with Centers for Mediacre & Medicaid Services regulations and analyze Minimum Data Set (MDS) data. Via the acquisition, briggs Healthcare will be able to expand its long-term care business service line.
"With the acquisition of SimpleLTC, Briggs offers a solution to our customers to unlock the tremendous value of the data they collect and to use that insight to improve their day-to-day operations," said Briggs Healthcare CEO Bruce Dan in a corporate statement.
Under the deal, SimpleLTC will retain its name and brand, operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Briggs Healthcare.
