American HealthTech, Medtelligent partner for AL care management
Electronic health record (EHR) provider American HealthTech, now part of the CPSI company, has partnered with Medtelligent to boost the care documentation solutions for the assisted living sector. The deal will combine AHT’s skilled nursing documentation and health record system, used by 3,300 clients, with Medtelligent’s Assisted Living solution, used in 31 states.
The combined portfolio will offer clinical care and medication records for skilled nursing and assisted living environments, revenue cycle management and integrated care plan software that can be accessed through Web-based technology.
Being able to expand care documentation technology across the care spectrum will allow for accurate records that follow the resident from care sector to care sector, said AHT President Teresa Chase in the corporate announcement. “The Medtelligent products add strength to our AHT technology solutions and give our clients superior clinical and financial management tools across a wider landscape of care facilities.”
