AHRQ accepting safety data now
4/15/14 update: The deadline for submissions has been extended to May 31.
Now through April 21, nursing homes that have administered the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's nursing home safety culture survey can submit their data.
The database is a central repository for survey data, which will be used to help facilities identify current strengths in patient safety culture as well as identify areas needing improvement. Comparative information is presented in the aggregate and does not include anything that identifies participating nursing homes.
Qualified facilities must have licensed nursing home beds and be located in the United States or U.S. territories. Assisted living, community care and independent living facilities are not eligible to participate.
Those who have questions about the data submission process can email DatabasesOnSafetyCulture@westat.com.
