AHCA/NCAL announces the 2012 award winners
Only two facilities earned this year's highest honor from the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL): Golden LivingCenter – Continental Manor in Abbotsford, Wis., and Grand Islander Center, Genesis HealthCare in Middletown, R.I.
The National Quality Award program lauds skilled nursing and assisted living facilities that deliver excellence in care quality.
Of the 458 facilities recognized this year, 404 facilities earned a Bronze award and 52 earned a Silver. Only 11 other facilities have won a gold award since the program began in 1996.
The complete list of this year’s award winners is on the AHCA/NCAL website.
