ACHCA elects new president and CEO
The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) has named Cecilia Sepp, CAE as its new president and CEO.
“I’m incredibly excited about this opportunity,” Sepp says in a news release. “A professional association represents the ability of a group of individuals to make significant changes in their specialty area, and our society, over a period of time. As dramatic change continues in our country, health care delivery and policy decisions related to its management will require increasingly savvy and educated individuals. This is where ACHCA will continue to lead in the areas of training, certification and advocacy.”
ACHCA provides professional education and certification to administrators across the spectrum of long-term care.
Sepp assumes responsibilities Jan. 4, 2016. Sharon Colling, CNHA, CALA, FACHCA has served as interim president and CEO following the retirement of former president Marianna Kern Grachek, FACHCA, Retired Emeritus Certified.
Previously, Sepp was vice president and client operations officer at Association Laboratory and founder and principal for CS Association Services. She has served on several councils and committees for the American Society of Association Executives.
