NIC, RCA Collaboration Aims to Improve Seniors Housing Data
Real Capital Analytics (RCA), a global research firm, and the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing and Care Industry (NIC) announced a collaborative agreement to provide improved transaction data and analytical reports on the seniors housing industry.
“Seniors housing properties are currently attracting tremendous amounts of capital,” RCA President Bob White said in a release. “So far in 2011, we have recorded $15 billion of property sales with another $7.5 billion pending, a huge amount of transactions that surpasses volume in the office sector.”
As part of the agreement, NIC will provide RCA with its U.S. database of seniors housing information, and RCA will enhance this transaction data to provide jointly produced industry trend reports and analytics. The transaction database and analytical reports will be offered to both NIC MAP subscribers and RCA clients later this year.
In addition, a NIC-RCA quarterly transactions report will be produced and be available through each organization.
