Latest in reform repeal shows politicians aren’t taking anything seriously
On Wednesday, the House passed “H.R.2 – Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act”. Yes, that’s the actual name of the bill our elected officials drafted and voted on.
Regardless of your take on reform—something I refuse to comment on with any matter of opinion—this attempt at a repeal spotlights an unfortunate reality of our current political landscape: politicians have waning respect for the positions they should feel honored to carry out. Petty, petulant battles have been the name of the game for a good while now, and it seems that trend won’t reverse course any time soon.
