ACHCA names new president and CEO
The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) will have a new president and CEO starting Dec. 4.
Bill McGinley, CNHA, CALA, CAS, CDAL, FACHCA, has been a nursing home administrator for 35 years and most recently served as the executive director of New Pond Village, a continuing care retirement community in Walpole, Massachusetts.
In 2017, ACHCA named him as the recipient of the Distinguished Assisted Living Administrator Award, and in May 2010 he was named Outstanding Member.
McGinley is the past president of the Massachusetts Chapter of ACHCA. He was a founding trustee of the MetroWest Health Care Foundation and served as chair of the MetroWest Healthcare Foundation Commission on Healthy Aging.
McGinley holds an MBA from Boston University with a concentration in Health Care Management. He is the third person in the nation to earn the Health Services Executive (HSE) credential from the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB).
Nicole was Senior Editor at I Advance Senior Care and Long Term Living Magazine 2015-2017. She has a Journalism degree from Kent State University and is finalizing a master’s degree in Information Architecture and Management. She has extensive studies in the digital user experience and in branding online media. She has worked as an editor and writer for various B2B publications, including Business Finance.
