New media for seniors

Two organizations are partnering to give seniors a new outlet to express themselves.

Senior Correspondent, a digital news outlet focused on sharing seniors’ stories, is working with Wesley Homes, a nonprofit senior living organization in Washington state. Senior Correspondent is a venture of The Signal Hill Company, LLC, a communications firm specializing in the senior living market.

We’re delighted to work together on our mission to amplify the voices of older adults for the good of society.”

Wesley Homes residents can share their life stories through narrative. As part of the agreement, those stories will be professionally edited, published on a community landing page of the Senior Correspondent website and promoted on social media. Senior Correspondent features reporting from veteran journalists on politics, art, travel, health, technology, money and home and garden for those age 50 and up alongside personal essays, commentary and poetry by seniors, many of whom live in retirement communities.
