Oklahoma LTC pharmacy expands
An Oklahoma-based long-term care pharmacy is opening up another shop in the Sooner State.
Boomer Solutions has opened a new long-term care pharmacy in partnership with Guardian Pharmacy, LLC, one of the nation's largest LTC pharmacy companies. The strategic expansion allows the company to serve residents in long-term care communities, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout the state.
"Our company is designed specifically to help our communities improve their residents’ quality of care,” co-founder Kyle Simmons said in a press release. “We have made a commitment to offer the most comprehensive pharmacy services with a personalized touch in order to improve the organizational efficiency of the communities we serve.”
Boomer Solutions was founded in 2010 to meet the needs of the growing senior population in northern Oklahoma. The new pharmacy opened with 18 employees and Simmons the number to double by the end of this year.
Boomer Solutions offers consulting and education, medication monitoring, reimbursement and insurance assistance to help LTC communities maximize occupancy, increase resident retention and improve resident's dignity and overall healthcare independence.
