Post-acute care software companies merge
There’s a shake-up in the post-acute rehabilitation therapy software field.
Casamba merged with Healthwyse and TherapySource, the former therapy division of SourceMed. The merger is part of Casamba’s strategy to deliver a comprehensive offering for providers.
“We are pleased to join forces with HealthWyse and TherapySource to enhance our offering, and support current and future clients of all three organizations with superior software and services,” said Ronnie Amrany, Casamba president and CEO in a press release. “In this era of bundled payments, we will enable providers to optimize their delivery of care across the continuum while tightening their revenue cycle.”
Casambra is a leading supplier of enterprise software systems to large therapy providers. Its cloud-based platform provides clinical therapy documentation, scheduling and billing automation for contract therapy and other healthcare organizations.
HealthWyse brings to the table a fully integrated electronic medical record of clinical and financial information software and services.
TherapySource brings to the table clinical and billing solutions through TherapySource, Rehab Toolkit and Revenue Cycle Services. The former SourceMedical division was the largest provider of outpatient information and revenue cycle services for ambulatory surgery centers and specialty hospitals.
