Anthem Memory Care expands into Kansas
Anthem Memory Care, Lake Oswego, Ore., has acquired two long-term care communities in Kansas and is relaunching them as memory care-dedicated communities. Both 66-bed communities, one in Wichita and one in Overland Park, had been operated by JEA Senior Living.
The purchase expands Anthem Memory Care’s portfolio into the heartland, and the company plans to invest $1 million in additional staffing, staff training and technology upgrades.
The company now operates eight memory care-specific communities in four states, including four communities in the Denver area.
