LeadingAge names new board chair
Kathryn Roberts now serves as the chair for LeadingAge's board of directors after seven years as a board member.
"I'm so excited for this next phase of my relationship with LeadingAge," Roberts says in a press release. "I am proud of the collective work the board does to support the leadership and members of LeadingAge, and I look forward to transitioning into this role along with our new president and CEO Katie Smith Sloan."
Roberts has served as president and CEO of Minnesota-based Ecumen since 2003. Under her leadership, the company has transformed from a nursing home provider to a diversified senior housing and services company.
"Kathryn is a strong, visionary leader and she is the right person to take LeadingAge into 2016 and beyond," says Smith Sloan.
Roberts succeeds Dave Gehm, president and CEO of WellSpring Lutheran Services.
