iN2L gets a new CEO
Fresh changes come at the top for It's Never 2 Late (iN2L) as Thomas Bang joins the company as its new CEO and co-founder Jack York shifts to the role of president.
Bang (photo, left) will be responsible for growing the global footprint and healthcare verticals of the 16-year-old company, which pioneered adaptive computing designed for older adults. York (photo, right) will focus on client relationships, healthcare IT thought leadership and technology innovation.
“Tom is an accomplished healthcare IT CEO who accelerates value creation through strategic vision, organizational engagement, alignment and integrity," York said in a company press release. “He has a uniquely personal appreciation of the market. It’s reassuring to have Tom at the helm to continue to drive our market leadership. We are excited to have Tom lead the expansion of iN2L”
Bang has decades of experience in the healthcare IT and services industry, including serving as CEO of A-Life Medical and holding senior executive positions at Cardinal Health, Baxter International and American Hospital Supply, among others.
Pamela Tabar was editor-in-chief of I Advance Senior Care from 2013-2018. She has worked as a writer and editor for healthcare business media since 1998, including as News Editor of Healthcare Informatics. She has a master’s degree in journalism from Kent State University and a master’s degree in English from the University of York, England.
